RECIPE
1. In a large mixing bowl, combine 4 cups of flour, granulated sugar, yeast, and salt. In a small saucepan, heat the milk until it reaches a temperature of 110°F (43°C). Add the warm milk, melted butter, and eggs to the dry ingredients. Stir until a soft dough forms.
2. Gradually add the remaining 1/2 cup of flour, a little at a time, until the dough is smooth and slightly sticky. Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes, or until the dough becomes elastic and springs back when pressed.
3. Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover it with a clean kitchen towel. Allow the dough to rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until it doubles in size.
4. Punch down the dough and transfer it to a lightly floured surface. Roll out the dough into a rectangle, approximately 16x12 inches in size.
5. Spread the softened butter evenly over the dough. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and ground cinnamon. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture over the buttered dough.
6. Starting from the long side, tightly roll up the dough into a log. Cut the log into 12 equal-sized rolls.
