Now, the OpenAI company has made it possible for Ukrainian users to sign up and start using the Chat GPT chatbot. Since Ukraine was added to the sanctions list by OpenAI along with nations like Russia, Iran, and Afghanistan, this AI-based tool was previously restricted to Ukrainian IP addresses and phone numbers. Now that this issue has been resolved, only those territories that are temporarily occupied by Russian will not be able to use ChatGPT.
Ukraine has been taken off the list of nations where ChatGPT, an AI chatbot, is banned.
Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
'ChatGPT is now available in Ukraine. The team of the Ministry of Digital Transformation worked for a long time on this decision - official letters, calls, and a meeting with the management. Finally, we managed to correct the injustice. Ukraine was removed from the list of countries where ChatGPT is blocked,' he wrote.
The user is directly involved in Chat GPT training through discussion, so the chatbot will remember their comments and correct any errors that are brought to their attention. Hence, as more Ukrainians utilize Chat GPT, the quality of Ukrainian text generation become increases.
